My personal description of genre is...Electronic-oriented, upbeat, fusion, smooth jazz and experimental instrumental music paired with virtuosic acoustic drum playing. :)
As someone who has spent most of my time producing and engineering albums for other artists, as well as playing drums on projects for other artists and bands, (or teaching others how to do that for themselves) this album was written and recorded as a means to display my own (sometimes odd) personal tastes in music, as well as specifically have an opportunity to "show off" my drum chops in a way that would in many situations be considered overplaying or grandstanding.
